Acute bleeding complications in patients after bone marrow transplantation.

A very important and hopefully stimulating publication. Obviously, our knowledge of the bleeding complications in hypoplastic patients can not simply be transferred to patients after bone marrow transplantation. Further studies are necessary to find out which additional factors besides thrombocytopenia play a role, and what can be done to positively influence the prognosis of patients with hemorrhage after BMT.
