A randomized crossover trial of IV fluid replacement versus no fluid replacement in autologous blood donors with cardiovascular disease.

This study is worth comparing with Hamilton-Davies et al., Comparison of commonly used clinical indicators of hypovolaemia with gastrointestinal tonometry, Intensive Care Med 1997;23(3):276-81, which reports no hemodynamic changes (in particular BP) following a much larger hemorrhage in healthy volunteers with no cardiac co-morbidity or cardiac medication.
