In vivo effect of haemodilution with saline on coagulation: a randomized controlled trial.

The study design does not explore the possibility that hemorrhage and/or hypovolemia could contribute to hypercoagulability, as control group had no blood withdrawn. It would be good to see further study(ies) with colloids (probably more commonly used for this) and/or alternative electrolyte formulations.
