Hemostatic effect of activated recombinant factor VIIa in Bernard-Soulier syndrome: studies in an in vitro model.

This is a letter describing an experiment in which rFVIIa was mixed with platelets from a patient with Bernard-Soulier syndrome. Platelet function (aggregation) was shown to improve, in addition to increased fibrin and thrombin generation.
