NATA Review

This study has no interest for clinicians. It compares two different, inaccurate monitors for detecting induced platelet dysfunctions. The TEG is not designed for this function, unless a Platelet Mapping kit is added, and it is well known that, whatever the results observed in this population of healthy volunteers, the PFA does not predict anything with regard to the bleeding risk.
