NATA Review
The authors report the preliminary findings of the first prospective observational cohort study on the hemostatic effects of different FFP:PRBC ratios in trauma patients. Effects were highest in patients receiving a ratio between 1:2 to 3:4. Individual response to FFP was patient-dependent and highest in patients with coagulopathy – point-of-care monitoring may help in identifying patients’ needs.
