Transfusion outcomes in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting treated with prasugrel or clopidogrel: TRITON-TIMI 38 retrospective data analysis.

This article retrospectively reviews patients receiving prasugrel versus clopidogrel in the TRITON trial. It shows that there was slightly more blood loss and platelet transfusion in those who had received prasugrel, but no difference in mortality.
