OLD Poster Presentations are in person in Bologna only.

All posters are to be in person and mounted on the poster boards provided. There are no virtual posters, but we are asking authors for an e-version (e-posters) to be uploaded to the congress virtual platform for all delegates (in-person and virtual) to consult. The platform will be accessible until end July 2023.

Posters will be displayed from 09:00 am Thursday 20 April through to 17:30 Friday 21 April.

During the time the posters are mounted there will be organised ‘poster sessions’. During these sessions each presenter will be allocated a 10-minute timeslot to make a 5 minute presentation followed by 5 minute Q&A.

The schedule will be communicated by 31 March.

Poster presenters must pay for registration by 20 March. After this date accepted abstracts will be withdrawn by the organisers.

Poster Format

Each author will be provided with a 1000mm (width) x 2000mm (height) poster board. Poster should be a standard A0 format (size 841mm x 1,189mm)

The poster boards will be labelled with the pre-assigned NATA Annual Symposium id-number. There will be ample supply of sticking tape,

E-poster

The e-poster will be uploaded to the virtual platform in pdf format via the My Account link sent to you on Monday 06 March.

Presenters are responsible for posting their materials on the assigned poster board by 09:30 on Thursday 20  April.

The poster exhibition is in the atrium next to the session room.

Content

The poster presentation should cover all key aspects of the work and contain the following items, where applicable:

  • Introduction
  • Materials / Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion / Conclusion
  • References

Recommendations

  • Keep the narrative short and succinct (Abstracts will be available). Extensive narratives are not necessary. Short ‘bulleted’ statements are preferred.
  • The outline and format of the poster should be in a logical sequence from top left to bottom right. Number all poster panels or use arrows that the sequence of presentation is clear.
  • Results are ideally presented in the form of figures, diagrams, graphs etc and be presented in clear, concise tabular format.
  • Statistical data should be titled and summarized in a clear, concise format.
  • All type should be a minimum of 14pt and readable from 1 metre. Use standard fonts e.g. Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman.
  • All poster panels should be printed with a laser or high-quality printerOLD
