NATA is providing 12 Trainee Travel Grants to attend NATA24

The awardees will receive:

• 3 nights’ accommodation 17-19 April 2024
• A lump sum of €400 towards travel
• Registration to the PBM Research Workshop, Saturday 20 April
• Registration to the NATA Networking Evening, Thursday 18 April

Who can apply?

• Trainees who are working in or interested in the management of anaemia and iron deficiency, critical bleeding and thrombosis – trainee doctors (eg: anaesthesiologists, intensive care and emergency specialist, surgeons, obstetricians) haematologists, transfusion medicine specialists, perfusionists, nurses, biomedical scientists
• Under the age of 35
• Preference will be given to trainees who have submitted an abstract for presentation in Bologna
• Applications are encouraged from candidates living and working in Low and Low Middle Income Countries

Application requirements:

1. Cover letter of maximum 200 words explaining why you want to attend NATA24 and how participating in the congress will contribute to your understanding of PBM.
2. Agreement to write a 300 word article about their NATA24 experience to be used in full or in part by NATA on Twitter, LinkedIn, the NATA Newsletter and NATA Website
3. Agreement to be photographed and named for promotion on Twitter, LinkedIn, the NATA Newsletter and NATA Website

3. Upload confirmation of position and place of work from the Chair of Department
4. Upload cover letter (including details relevant to the application criteria above)

Applications will be reviewed by the NATA Board of Directors.

Successful applicants will be informed by Monday, 29 January 2024

Terms and Conditions:
* Awardees must attend all NATA24 sessions and the PBM Implementation Workshop
* The travel lump sum will be paid immediately after the congress
* Awardees must register for NATA24 by 29 February 2024 – registration fees will apply
