Dr. Gagan Mathur is a board-certified Transfusion Medicine physician and Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine at UCI. He holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) through AAPL.

Dr. Mathur oversees UCI’s blood bank, therapeutic apheresis, cellular therapy, and donor center services. He serves as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Membership Committees at SABM and chairs the Perioperative Accreditation Committee at AABB. His leadership focuses on collaboration and advancing patient care globally.
