Dr Jonathan Waters is a Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh; and, Chief of the Division of Anesthesiology at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In addition, he is Director of the Patient Blood Management program of UPMC.
